Dr. Laurie Nelson
Audiologist
Dr. Laurie Nelson is a licensed audiologist and the owner of Marietta Hearing Center. She received her Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and her Doctor of Audiology at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and Audiology in 2009. Dr. Nelson has been a practicing audiologist since 1986, and has been in the Marietta area since 1999. She approaches patient care with experience, knowledge and compassion. Dr. Nelson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology. Dr. Nelson lives with her husband and three dogs in Kennesaw. In addition to her love for dogs, Dr. Nelson enjoys travel, Pilates, Bible study,and working with children and teenagers in her church.

Dr. Amanda Thomas
Audiologist
Dr. Amanda Thomas joined Marietta Hearing Center in 2018. She received her undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology with honors from the University of West Georgia and her Doctorate of Audiology from East Tennessee State University. Her experience comes primarily from working in VA Medical Centers in Augusta, Georgia and Johnson City, Tennessee. Dr. Thomas is passionate about helping patients to better communicate and improving their quality of life. She is well versed in hearing diagnostics, hearing aid technology, and counseling. Dr. Thomas lives in Kennesaw with her husband. She enjoys music and food festivals, reading, and watching Netflix.

Dr. Brittney Tardy
Audiologist
Brittney Marie Tardy graduated summa cum laude from James Madison University, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She received her Masters (M.S.) and Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was inducted as a member of the Alpha Eta Society for achieving academic excellence while earning her degrees. Dr. Tardy completed her professional externship at the Atlanta Veteran Medical Center Audiology Clinic. She has worked in the Atlanta area since receiving her degree. Dr. Tardy is licensed by the state of Georgia as an audiologist. She is a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology and has served at the Convention co-chair, as well as the 2020 Convention Chair. Dr. Tardy was born in Florida and grew up in Florida, as well as Virginia. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys spending time with her adopted dog, Gypsy.

Jane DeVillers
Billing Specialist
Jane began working at Marietta Hearing center as a Medical Billing Specialist in August of 2009. She previously worked at several local physician offices in a number of roles including receptionist, assistant, and medical billing specialist. Jane lives in Kennesaw with her husband and their husky, Elliot.

Katie Hatzidakis
Patient Care Coordinator
Katie joined Marietta Hearing in 2015 to assist in patient care and scheduling. Katie lives in Kennesaw with her husband, three sons and two dogs, Ranger and Zoe.
