Dr. Laurie Nelson
Dr. Laurie Nelson is a licensed audiologist and the owner of Marietta Hearing Center. She received her Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and her Doctor of Audiology at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and Audiology in 2009. Dr. Nelson has been a practicing audiologist since 1986, and has been in the Marietta area since 1999. She approaches patient care with experience, knowledge and compassion. Dr. Nelson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology. Dr. Nelson lives with her husband and three dogs in Kennesaw. In addition to her love for dogs, Dr. Nelson enjoys travel, Pilates, Bible study,and working with children and teenagers in her church.
Dr. Amber Rolfes
Dr. Amber Rolfes joined Marietta Hearing Center in January 2016. She received her undergraduate degree in Communications Disorders at Appalachian State University and her doctorate of audiology, Au.D., from Auburn University. The majority of her experience was spent working alongside Ear, Nose & Throat physicians to diagnose hearing loss. Dr. Rolfes is passionate about helping patients with their hearing healthcare and working to improve their quality of life. She is proficient in comprehensive diagnostic services and has experience with tinnitus management, counseling, and hearing aid technology to improve hearing. Dr. Rolfes lives in Marietta with her husband and two children. She serves in the children's ministry at her church, volunteers once a month at Winnwood Retirement Community and enjoys her neighborhood book club.
Patient Care Coordinator
Mary Reitz is our patient care coordinator. She is here to answer your questions and create a pleasant patient atmosphere during your visit. Mary has many years of experience scheduling and assisting patients with their individual needs. Mary lives in Acworth with her husband and their dog, Layla.
Jane began working at Marietta Hearing center as a Medical Billing Specialist in August of 2009. She previously worked at several local physician offices in a number of roles including receptionist, assistant, and medical billing specialist. Jane lives in Kennesaw with her husband and their husky, Elliot.
Patient Care Coordinator
Katie joined Marietta Hearing in 2015 to assist in patient care and scheduling. Katie lives in Kennesaw with her husband, three sons and two dogs, Ranger and Zoe.
