• My experience at Marietta Hearing Center was 100% positive, which does not happen very often these days. Mary, Mrs. Nelson's right hand person, was warm, friendly and very helpful. • I just wanted to let you know how much you have changed the quality of my life. The care and personal attention you and Mary have given me has been the best! To say the least the adjustment and realization that I had a hearing issue at all was made a much easier process to go through with your expertise in audiology. You knew exactly what I needed and which manufacturer would meet not only my hearing loss the best but also my life style. Being a 49 year old single working mom with two teenage boys I find myself in many hearing situations from PTA, to the office and even a dance class with very loud music.
  
  I cannot say enough about how my new hearing instruments have improved the quality of my life ~ I went from the old technology to the new technology with great excitement! For the first time in years I could “HEAR” all the words in the songs/ music that I listen to . They are so natural in sound I do not even know they are in my ears and, I wear them all the time.
  
  I had gotten to a point with my old hearing aids that I was not wearing them because there was so much back ground noise. I found myself not in the conversation at all. But now I do believe I can hear better than most in any situation as they adjust on their own. They are a perfect fit for my hearing loss considered to be moderate nerve loss.....although it has been a large investment it has been with out a doubt the best investment I have made. • After going through five different hearing centers over many years, I finally found a combination of the right hearing aid and the right person to end my long years of frustration.  Being hearing impaired has caused me much grief and I had come to the point of hopelessness until Laurie Nelson came along and patiently prescribed the right hearing instrument for me.  The follow up service has been invaluable to tweak everything to work for my situation.  Most importantly, Laurie has not only the expertise but also the characteristics of really caring for her clients.  My life has taken on new meaning and I am grateful.
